Please note:
Pressure and temperature ratings are dependent on the flange class, body material, gasket material, screen selection, process media and applicable design code. It is the responsibility of the customer or system designer to confirm chemical compatibility, pressure rating, temperature rating and suitability for the intended service before installation.
Available sizes range from DN50 to DN300. The listed operating range is -20°C to 260°C, with pressure ratings dependent on temperature, flange class, media and site conditions. Final product selection should always be confirmed against the process fluid, pressure, temperature, corrosion allowance, flange standard and required screen perforation or mesh size.
The cast steel flanged Y strainer is designed for inline installation where suspended solids or pipeline debris need to be removed before they reach critical downstream equipment. The Y-pattern body allows the screen to be installed at an angle to the pipeline, providing a compact strainer design suitable for horizontal or suitable vertical pipeline arrangements.
The strainer body is manufactured from ASTM A216 WCB cast steel and is supplied with a stainless steel screen to suit your specification. A bolted cover allows access to the screen for cleaning and maintenance while the unit remains installed in the pipeline, provided the line is safely isolated and depressurised before servicing.
These units are supplied with ANSI 150 raised face flanged connections and are suitable for industrial services where carbon steel construction is compatible with the process media. Typical applications include water, steam, brine, chemical processing, general industrial services, plant utilities, and protection of pumps, control valves, flow meters and heat exchangers.
Whether you require new or replacement Y Strainer screens for a particular brand or model, our team will work closely with you to guarantee an accurate fit.
