Hayward YSH Series Y-Strainers are a new-generation thermoplastic strainer range designed to protect pumps, valves, meters, spray nozzles and downstream process equipment from unwanted solids in liquid pipeline systems.

Available in PVC, CPVC and Clear PVC, the YSH Series is suited to corrosive and industrial liquid applications where metallic strainers may suffer from rust, chemical attack or high maintenance requirements. The design features an enlarged barrel profile for improved flow performance, clear permanent body markings, directional flow arrows and a one-piece PVC or CPVC screen element with no welded seams or weak points.

  Monarch’s Cast Y strainers provide dependable, low-maintenance protection for pumps, control valves, meters and instrumentation across water, wastewater and general process services. Available in ductile iron, carbon steel and stainless steel with common flange drillings (AS 2129 Table E and ANSI/ASME B16.5 150#/300#/600#), they integrate easily into Australian and international pipework standards while keeping pressure loss to a minimum.

We manufacture and fit a large range of perforated and mesh-lined screens in-house to match your duty—whether you need coarse debris interception on raw water or fine particulate control on process lines.
