The 4.5" DOE String Wound Filter Cartridge is built for reliable sediment removal in domestic and small commercial liquid filtration systems. It provides a compact, easy-to-install and easy-to-maintain solution for removing suspended particulate and reducing fine sediment such as sand, silt, rust, and scale, helping protect downstream equipment and improve overall water quality.

Constructed from polypropylene string roving wound onto a slotted polypropylene core for added strength, the cartridge is wound in a precise pattern to maximise surface area. This depth-filtration construction delivers high dirt-holding capacity with minimal pressure drop, offering a long-standing track record of consistent, dependable performance.
