Bag Filter Vessel Guide for Liquid Filtration Applications
We provide bag filter housings in accordance with Industry Standard sizes: Size 01, 02, 03, and 04.
A Bag Filter System offers remarkable adaptability to virtually any liquid and viscosity. Liquid passes from the inside to the outside of the bag, capturing particles in the process. Bag Filter Vessels are available in Single or Multi Bag configurations, with Multi Bag units offering substantial surface area and high flow rates. When properly sized, filter bags boast a long lifespan and require minimal maintenance.
In addition to bags, we offer a diverse range of filter baskets that serve as alternatives, replacing the combination of filter bag and bag support basket.
Monarch Filter Vessels are capable of following the flow rates. The rates are based on filtering water which has a viscosity of 1 c.p. through a Nominal Rated Filter Bag. When your application requires High Removal Efficiency Media, please consult our sales staff for a sizing recommendations.

Multi-bag housings offer user friendly, cost effective bag filtration for high volume applications.
Flow rate capability example:
- 4 bag housing is rated at 160,000 lt per hour @ 1 c.p. nominal rated bag (4 x 40,000 lt per hour)
- 6 bag housing is rated at 240,000 lt per hour @ 1 c.p. nominal rated bag (6 x 40,000 lt per hour)
