Monarch Industrial Products supplies Extended Life (Long Life) polypropylene needle felt filter bags in a fully welded construction for demanding liquid filtration applications. The special depth structure and increased thickness of the long-life polypropylene media extend service life by approximately two to five times compared with standard felt filter bags, helping reduce change-outs and overall filtration costs.

These POXL series bags feature a fully welded design with moulded plastic seal rings, providing secure, bypass-free sealing in compatible bag filter housings. The downstream surface is singed using a controlled heat treatment to minimise fibre migration and ensure clean filtrate. Available in Sizes 01 and 02 with retention ratings from 1–100 µm, maximum operating temperature below 90 °C and typical applications including automotive coating systems, electrophoretic paint and plating, lubricating and hydraulic oils, chemicals, solvents, amines, edible oils, juices, syrups and water, Extended Life polypropylene bags deliver long-lasting, reliable performance across a wide range of process duties.
